the village and keeping up with the local news. If you’re interested speak to Stuart

You might prefer to collect stock. Even if its just once a month, help on a Saturday
morning to collect fruit and veg from Wareham market, or the newspapers from
Puddletown on a Thursday morning, it would be a massive help.
Many hands make light work and this is particularly true for the village shop. Many
people are involved in helping to run the village shop and we’d love you to be
part of the team. Please consider how you might play a part.
Thank you for continuing to support the Village shop.
To place an order please contact us on 01929 472000 during opening hours and
by email Briantspuddle.shop@gmail.com. You can collect or we’re happy to
 deliver.

 AFFPUDDLE AND TURNERSPUDDLE PARISH
 COUNCIL

 Full Fibre Broadband

The Parish Council met on the
 14th July and discussed the
 phone line and broadband
 difficulties faced by many
 residents in the parish. Local
 attempts to participate in a
scheme with BT to bring full
 fibre to properties has been
 unsuccessful as every
 property would need to be
 involved to make the scheme
 feasible. Dorset Councillor
Wharf suggested that it would be worthwhile requesting to be part of a Rural Pilot
scheme for the full replacement of copper by fibre. The Parish Council will make
 the request.

A Tree for the Queen’s Jubilee
The Parish Council is discussing with the Erica Trust, the possibility of planting an
oak tree to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. Discussions are ongoing
