 for  Christmas  gifts,  you  can  pick
 up  a  copy  from  the  Post  Office   This can tick away while you are watching the Fireworks and will

 to  The  Ed  Kent  Trust,  a  local      450g (1lb) cubed Pork
 charity providing grants for young
 people  to develop their skills and      25g (1oz) plain flour
 experiences in  sports  or  music,  set  up  in  memory  of  Bere  Regis resident  Ed  Kent      25g (1oz)  lard or tbsp oil
 who sadly passed away in 2015 at the age of 13.
                2 Onions sliced
                450g (1lb) Potatoes sliced
                1 medium cooking Apple sliced.

                1 teaspoon of Mustard.

           Preheat the oven 325F/ 170 C/ Gas 3


           1.  Drain prunes and reserve juice, make up to half a pint with
           water.

           2.  Chop prunes.

           3.  Toss the meat in the flour.
           4.   Brown the pork in the oil.

           5.  Put the pork, prunes, onions, apple slices and potatoes in
           layers in an ovenproof dish, seasoning each layer.

           Pour over prune juice with the mustard mixed in and cook for
           90mins.
