Unfortunately due to the heavy snowfall in early March the charity Coffee
morning scheduled to take place in the Bladen Social club on Saturday 3 March

had to be cancelled.

Purbeck Local Plan Consultation – New homes for Purbeck

At its March meeting, the Parish Council considered its response to the Purbeck
Local Plan Consultation.
Councillors did not support any of the three options in their entirety or without
reservations. A letter offering a response to the Consultation was agreed and
has been submitted. A copy of this can be found on the Community Website. In
particular the Parish Council raised concerns about the effect these proposals,
for so many new homes, will have on local infrastructure and amenities.
