THANK YOU PAT, LUCY AND JOHN
Some more of our regular parish magazine delivery folk have, this month, handed
over the reins to new volunteers. Very shortly before John England sadly passed
away, James Hawkins had offered to take responsibility for the round which
covers the south side of West Street and Southmead formerly undertaken by John
and Lucy Fridd. We know that John’s ‘regular customers’ have had their
magazines delivered for over forty years by him, and both Mary and John were
the distribution co-ordinators since from the seventies until Sally and Gordon
Cheeseman took over from them about ten years’ ago. Lucy kindly offered to
give John a hand in more recent years, so thank you very much to her too.
Our thanks also go to Pat Wharf who has passed on her round to Tracey Sutcliffe.
We are very appreciative of all those people who give up their time each month
to make sure that your magazine reaches you safe and sound.
If anyone else is willing to offer their assistance for this community role, please see
the information overleaf. I will be delighted to hear from you.
