Every month I always worry that no one will come, it was Garden in Affpuddle

need not have worried our members turned with new Church
faces. Our subject was in fact rubbish and what
happens to it.
Kirsten Juniper from Dorset Waste Partnership came
armed with a Powerpoint presentation, loads of leaflets
and facts. The leaflets disappeared. There were lots of questions. None of
Dorset’s rubbish goes to the third world. I was very re assured that we are all trying
to recycle and reuse as much as possible but there is still more to do. I am not
good with batteries, plastic packaging and tin foil and tetra packs. As a single
person I do not generate enough rubbish to sort it out and take it to the
supermarket but must try harder.
