 JOHN ENGLAND AUTUMN LEAVES

                       OVER 50’S CLUB
We would like to extend our grateful thanks to all those people who have sent
cards and letters of sympathy following John’s passing. Thank you also to all
those who came to the funeral, your support and friendship has been greatly We were pleased to welcome as our speaker this month Tony
appreciated. Bates, our local conservation and wildlife expert. Tony did not
disappoint us as he gave a wonderful photographic presentation of the flora and
Mary and family fauna that can be seen around Bere Regis. The highlight of his show was a
beautiful depiction of our village during three of the four seasons, to which he
had added most appropriate music. A competition for the best wildlife picture
came next followed by the usual sociable tea, sandwiches and cakes. The
afternoon was rounded off by the raffle, ably managed by Marion.
