We are very pleased to welcome Judith, Alec, Vivi
and Mel to the group working behind the shop
counter during the week. Also Peter, who will take
over as Treasurer. Judith and Peter are now in the middle of a mammoth bike
ride from Land’s End to John o’ Groats – we wish them luck!
Our Dorset produce is proving to be very
popular with both residents and visitors so
please come and see the new items we have
such as a wider range of teas, granolas, muesli
and chocolate.

Many thanks to all of you who have been very
patient while we have struggled with IT
problems with the ‘Square’ system which runs
the payments, invoicing and stock control for
the shop. The frequent ‘crashes’ are frustrating
for both the counter staff and customers but we
have done our best to keep the show on the
road. As is often the case with IT systems,
working out what is causing the problem is a
slow process of elimination. We have replaced
the card reader and BT has increased the Broadband download but the
problems persist. At present, we are waiting for a new stand and hope that this
will fix the problem – hopefully by the time you read this all will be well.
We have had some more electrical work
carried out in the shop. Many thanks to
the Parish Council (who owns the building)
for funding this.

We have changed our regular days for
bread orders. Fresh bread now comes
from Williams on Tuesdays and from the
Italian Baker on Saturdays. We have
