Our November meeting began with arrangements
for Christmas Lunch, our New Year Party, an outing

Poundbury Garden Centre to see their Christmas display and held their Christmas
Lunch at The Black Dog in Broadmayne. We will celebrate the New Year in our

unable to include items
raised at the meeting.
Instead, the following

information relating to
the Neighbourhood
Plan and gives details of
the next stage in the
process, leading to the
referendum.
Following the feedback received at the public consultation on Saturday 11
th
November, a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) paper has been produced and is
available on the Parish Council web site or in hard copy from the Clerk. Please
feel free to continue to ask any additional questions you may have via the web
site and these will be added to the FAQ lists.
In the meantime, the draft Plan continues to move forward and it is hoped that,
once any amendments have been made following the consultation and the
District Council’s review, it will be put back to the residents for further consultation
in January or February of the New Year. There will then be a period of about 6
weeks for the results of that consultation to be analysed before the Plan goes
before Purbeck District Council and various Statutory Bodies for their comments.
Again, this will take about 6 to 8 weeks. All being well, the Plan will then be put
before an Independent Examiner for detailed inspection.
