As announced in the January edition of this magazine two events are scheduled
to take place in the village hall in February.

Skittles Competition

On Saturday the 3 February the Annual Village Skittles competition this is open to Looking to Lent

all residents of the Parish and organisations that regularly use the village hall.
Each team to consist of four people, entry costs £1 per team member, and there
are prizes for the winners. You can form a team with three of your friends, Jesus’ temptations in the desert
neighbours, family members.

Race Night
The second event in February occurs on Saturday the 24 February and is a Race

Night. Unlike previous race nights where the races were video recordings this
event features live action with real “Jockeys” spurring on their small steeds as they
race the length of the village hall.

Standby for humour, race excitement and maybe disappointment from those
who bet their shirts on the wrong horse and jockey.

Charity Coffee Morning
The next charity Coffee morning takes place in the Bladen Social club on

Saturday 3 March at 10 am.
