BERE REGIS WI
With Summer’s arrival the ladies have been out and
CHURCH FETE about enjoying the sunshine whilst taking part in a
variety of activities.
The Bournemouth Natural History Group returned to
Cruck Cottage us for a third visit to enjoy a cream tea as the finale to their day’s visit to
Abbotsbury.
Our own Members Evening was a trip to Wolfeton House, just outside Dorchester.
Briantspuddle Many of us have driven past but never visited a manor house that turned out to
probably date from Saxon Times. Most prominently the seat of the Trenchard
11 AUGUST 2pm family very little is left of the original house. The current owner, Captain Thimbleby,
has renovated much of the ground floor including the Dining Room where all
enjoyed a delicious cream tea!
The ladies have supported Bere Regis Cricket Team this year serving tea on

Sat.23rd June and will do so again for the annual August match against Essex.

books, raffle, bric-a-brac, Wareham Museum, followed by a
Fish & Chip supper. We will be
