                                                       Choir

                                                       On  Monday  11th  April
                                                       (before Easter) at 7 pm  at
                                                       S t   J oh n ’s    Ch u r c h ,
                                                       M a c a u l a y    R o a d ,
                                                       B r o a d s t o n e ,   D o r s e t
       Chamber Choir will be performing Stainer’s The Crucifixion and Byrd’s Mass for 4
       voices with Christopher Dowie, organist and John Watkins, conductor and Musical
       Director

       Tickets £10 (£5 students/children) are available from choir members, at the door

       Briantspuddle Singers
       Having    not   performed
       together as a group for over
       two   years   during   the
       pandemic     Briantspuddle
       Singers   are   very   much
       looking  forward  to  staging  a
       concert  of  Lent  music  in  the
       prestigious   and   beautiful
       Milton Abbey on Saturday 9

       April at 7.30pm.
       We  will  be  performing  the
       ever-popular  Crucifixion  by
       Stainer,  accompanied  by
       local musicians playing the Abbey’s Willis organ and the chamber organ owned
       by the DRMS. Also on the programme are popular pieces by Victoria, Viadana,
       Handel, Mozart, Brahms, Vaughan Williams, ending with two joyful and exuberant
       works by recent composers – Richard Shephard and Alan Bullard.
       Choir members are all eagerly anticipating this chance to come together to sing
       once again in these lovely surroundings, and look forward to welcoming a large
       and  enthusiastic  audience  to  share  their  love  of  music  during  these  still  very
       challenging times. Tickets for this event are £12.50 and are available at the door,
