           Ingredients

 November,  our  dispensary  hatch  will  stay  open  on     2 onions chopped
 Thursdays only until 6.00pm     2 unpeeled everyday apples, chopped
             3 rashers of bacon cut up
 Thank you’s     75ml milk (2floz)
             100g (3oz) grated cheese (plus a little extra for the topping)

 medication over the past months.  I think we all hoped that we would be COVID
 free by now, but the ongoing support is hugely welcomed and appreciated.   Method
 We would also like to extend a huge “thank you” to Adrian Standfield who cuts   1.   Preheat oven 180c/Gas 4/ 350F
 our hedges – his community service – which we very much appreciate too.   2.   Lightly oil / line an 8inch deep metal tin
           3.    Add a dash of oil to a pan and lightly fry the bacon and onions
           until they start to brown.
           4.    Add the apples and root vegetables, cook for a further 3-4 minutes
           stirring regularly.
           5.    Then add the milk, cheese and a little salt and pepper stir and then
           mix in the egg and put the mixture into the pastry case.
           6.    Top with a little extra grated cheese and bake for 20-25 mins until
           golden brown.
