Choral Services and Musical Events at St Peter’s Church,
Dorchester, during June
Our monthly service of Choral Eucharist takes place on Sunday 9 June at

10.30am. The music includes Stopford’s ‘God be in my head’, the Tallis ‘Mass for
Four Voices’ and Durufle’s ‘Tantum ergo’. All are welcome to this free event and
for refreshments afterwards.

On Saturday 15 June, between 12.30pm and 1.00pm, Verity Joy (soprano) will
th
present a programme of music including songs by Strauss, Vaughan Williams and
Mozart. Verity, who is about to take her LTCL singing diploma, is in her final year of
undergraduate studies at Arts University Bournemouth, where she is also a music
scholar. This is a free concert and we hope you will join us for an fantastic half
hour of vocal music in the midst of your busy Saturday!
Our monthly service of Choral
Evensong takes place on
Saturday 22 June at 4.30pm.
