ROTARY CLUB OF WAREHAM
Rotary Dorset Bike Ride sets £250,000
target to aid Cancer Research UK
This year’s Rotary Dorset Bike Ride in aid of Cancer
Research UK, organised by the Rotary Club of

Westbourne, takes place on Sunday 9 September.
Hundreds of cyclists are expected to take part, riding one of 8 routes which vary

cancer and want to raise
money to help find cures
for the many different types
of cancer.

even in the gym. This can be part of their training,

the Rotary Dorset Bike Ride itself. Once they have hit
their monthly target they receive a special medal
and certificate. Again, all profits go to Cancer
Research UK.
Cancer Research UK has already made enormous

now at 50% compared to 25% in 1970. They can only
