Pop In Place Community Café ( This café is for people of all
ages )
There is a warm welcome for all at the Pop In Place Community Café we operate
the café’s on Monday and Friday mornings 10am until 12 noon. On the Friday we
have Bere Regis Watercress at 50p a bunch when in season and a Fruit and Veg
and eggs stall in the Foyer run by Tony Shave. If you live within the Parish and
would you like transport to the Pop In Place please Telephone Sarah our
coordinator 01929 472811 who will arrange it for you .
Age UK Toe nail cutting Service in Bere Regis
This is an opportunity to have nail cutting in the village, currently response is not
great the initial cost will Inc. a kit then it £13 each time, we have a new toe nail
cutting lady her name is Amy Crocker so if you are struggling to cut your own
toenails and need help please do contact her on 07973654511she will be visiting in
January please do contact her if you want to book a place.( Please see item by
Age UK in this publication.)
No more Battery Recycling Thank you !
Please note that we are no longer able to offer this facility due to the many
children groups that are in the building and the risk with certain types of batteries
please don’t bring them to the hall any longer.
WANTED Good Quality items of clothing bric a brac and
books to sell
Come along to The Poppets Group this is our family
community café on Thursday Mornings 9.30 until 11.30 At the
Lower Drax Hall during Term Time.
We are also able to offer breastfeeding advice by a trained member of our staff
and a relaxed informal meeting place. There is often a clothing exchange of
children’s clothes, do come along and try us out, new members are most
welcome, Sarah and Jackie offer a warm welcome to all Parents Carers
Grandparent with babies or toddlers.
