         The new Explorer Committee (made up from our young people) have planned
         an  exciting  term  of  activities;  some  fun  and  creative  (cooking,  Scottish
         dancing), others to enhance their Scouting skills (fire lighting, navigation) and a
         few to find out more about our community and the charity groups within them.
         Several  DofE  expeditions  are  already  planned  for  the coming  months  as  are
         hiking and camping opportunities and a summer sailing trip on the Rona II.
