uniforms, postcards and much more. We paid tribute to the fallen of the parish as
we entered the hall, where their histories were on display.

A thoroughly good time was enjoyed by those who came, so once again thanks
to all who made this happen.

 New Years Eve
We’re planning another extravaganza to welcome in 2019. Yet again we will
have the lovely Ian with his disco Night Train to keep us on our toes, a bar will be
provided and possibly some nibbles. There will be games, cabaret and general
mayhem. All this will be occurring right on your doorstep so you won’t need to
walk far to get home. The doors will open at 8.30, but we will need a general idea
of numbers attending so you will no doubt be pestered by organisers to commit
 yourselves.

 Finally

I would like to take this opportunity to commend and congratulate all the
members of The Village Hall Committee (and our minutes secretary) for their
steadfast good sense, their commitment to the Charity and its aims, and their
good humoured approach to the ‘job’.
I also want to thank all those who proffer willing help to the charity and those who
support events (fundraising or otherwise) with cheerfulness and goodwill.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and look forward to
another productive and successful year in 2019.
