Tango Calor is one
of the most exciting
t a n g o b a n d s
performing in the
UK, and this autumn
they head to Dorset
for a short tour with
Artsre ach , the
counties rural arts charity. Tango Calor have performed at tango dances and
festivals up and down the country including WOMAD, and are often invited to
accompany visiting Argentine artists.
The trio have also collaborated with orchestras staging concerts of the music of
Astor Piazzolla. Expect an evening of songs and wonderful stories presented to
you by sensational Latin vocalist Indira Roman (Salsa UK, Roberto Pla), Mirek
Salmon (Welsh National Opera, Moscow Drug Club), one of the few masters of
the bandoneon based in the UK, and wonderful Dutch jazz pianist Daan Temmink.
This is a show for young and old, for people who enjoy dancing or those who
prefer to listen.
