DRAX HALL

Thank you to the Pop In Place for funding
refurbishment of the Lower Hall
The Pop In Place have funded through a recently gained
Skipton Grant redecoration of the Lower Hall, professional DRAX
cleaning of the carpets and the purchase of new blinds.
HALL
It looks fantastic and has improved the environment
greatly; extra heating has been installed to help with the
problems of heating this old building.
The Hall committee does a very good job in keeping this 229 year old building
functioning against the odds, thank you to everyone who works so hard.

There is a Public Access Defibrillator outside the Village Hall

It is very straight forward to use and you are talked through the process as you go.
There is a short film clip on You Tube by the British Heart Foundation that shows
exactly how to do it DON’T BE AFRAID anyone can do it, and remember the worst
thing you can do when someone’s heart stops is nothing !

Village Hall Hiring
The village hall has two options for hire the large upper Hall at £8 per hour and the
Lower room at £7 per hour please telephone Lyn Simmonds on 01929 471528 to
