offer.
The end of an era
st
The Council will cease to exist as of 1 April 2019 although bizarrely elections for
nd
the new Council will not take place until Thursday May 2 . Although the Council
will not exist its functions will continue with the new Council, and the changes
should not be obvious to the public. Local buildings will generally be retained to
provide speedy access to the public but there will be a major rationalisation of
assets, including buildings, to ensure we achieve better and more effective use of
both buildings and the multiple IT systems.
Surgery
Surgeries are held on the first Saturday of every month. These are held at the
communal Lounge in Turberville Court in Bere Regis from 09.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
If you have any questions or queries related to the business of Purbeck District
Council please do come along. If anyone wants to contact me and cannot get
to the surgery my email address is peter.wharf@btopenworld.com.
