April 2024 April 2024
       BERE REGIS HISTORY SOCIETY

We began our February meeting with the return of
subscriptions from before the Covid lock down
which stopped our March 2020 meeting. As a
"reward" we won't be having subs this year but just
expect a small donation per meeting.
There were hints made about another Trench dig
when the weather is better and also two very
local walks on evenings in the coming summer
       months.

Progress with the Museum included showing the
new sign which will be put up on the building
before long. Some unusual finds and artefacts will be displayed in the Museum
alongside those local things that might be expected. For instance the Library will
have a Thomas Hardy collection of about 100 books including novels, poetry
       works, biographies and reference books.
