       VILLAGE HALL

This is the month the clocks go back and the nights
will truly turn in but it’s not a time for hibernation.
The village hall is still there and all the usual events
that take place week by week are there for you to
enjoy. Maybe this is the time to try something for
the first time maybe short mat bowls or yoga, Pilates etc.

The coffee shop run by the community group will be serving up amazing bacon
rolls, cups of tea and cake on a Saturday morning so there is absolutely no reason
to shut the door and go to sleep until spring.
We had hoped to be able to put on a Nina Garcia evening during October but
we have had to rearrange the date for that and it is now going to be on 25
                                                                              th

local ale along with some spirits and soft drinks and tonics as well as fruit juices.

or heard Nina before you can find
some of her videos by doing a

village hall trustees. We can host a
maximum of about 80 people and
the event is also being publicised
outside of the immediate parish so
please don’t rely on tickets being available right up until the last minute.
Although the trustees are not going to be specifically ring fencing money for
carbon neutral and sustainable works any funds raised through these events will
be notionally set aside for such projects as and when we decide what they
should be. On that note several members of the community have shown interest
in the village halls Caron footprint over the last few agm’s but sadly that hasn’t
translated into people being prepared to be part of a sub committee to
