Flu vaccinations

COVID 19 vaccinations – Autumn/Winter booster

The government have brought forward this year’s programme in response to a
new Covid 19 variant. From Monday 18 September the NHS will start to invite
eligible people to come for their vaccination. Covid 19 vaccination
appointments are available to book at Wareham Hospital as well as community
pharmacists (not the GP surgeries in Purbeck)

Patients will be able to book an appointment on the National Booking Service or
by phoning 119.
 Those eligible for an autumn Covid 19 vaccination are:
 Residents in a care home
 All adults aged 65 or over
 Persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group as laid out in the
immunisation green book
 Pregnant women
 Frontline health and social care workers
 Persons aged 12 to 64 years who are household contacts of people with
immunosuppression
 Persons who are ages 16 to 64 years old who are carers (as defined in the
green book) and staff working in care homes for older adults

Christmas raffle

We are holding a Christmas raffle in aid of the Surgery Carers group. The prize is a
light up Christmas tree cookie jar. Tickets are £1 each and are available from
Reception. The draw will take place on Thursday 14 December at the Carers
