Parish Litter Pick - Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 March 2018

The Parish Litter Pick will take place over the weekend of 3 and 4 March 2018.

The Council is hoping for volunteers to help out. Equipment including gloves and
grippers can be obtained from the village hall on Saturday and Sunday between
the times of 9.30am and 12.30pm.
Volunteers can select their own route, be it long or short, any help is most
gratefully received, please just turn up on a day and time that suits you. For more

Briantspuddle Crossroads and Throop Heath Fingerposts
Viridor have approved the Parish Council’s application to restore the Fingerpost at
Briantspuddle Crossroads. In addition, Councillors have approved the cost of
replacing the fingerpost at Throop Heath, which having fallen into disrepair has
been removed.

Affpuddle Defibrillator

A grant application has been submitted to the National Lottery Award for All
scheme to contribute to a defibrillator in Affpuddle. The Parish Council is due to
hear in March if the application has been successful. If successful, the new
defibrillator will be housed in the Affpuddle telephone kiosk which the Parish
Council has adopted.
