                                                                                            Probably  one  of  the  most  well-known  hymns  ever  is  ‘All  things  bright  and
                                                                                            beautiful’. It is probably the one hymn that many of us could sing instantly – go
                                                                                            on, have a go!

           JC   13th   Harvest with soup lunch                                              Written by Mrs Cecil Alexander and first published in 1848, it speaks of the beauty
                                                                                            of God’s creation  and of our place in caring for it. So it has been around for over
                                                                                            175 years – no wonder we know it so well. And it was possibly inspired by verses

                                                                                            beauty of creation, and indeed to sing the hymn ‘All things bright and beautiful’.
