 Please note: the area around the Scout Hut will not currently be open for social or   a bucket underneath and was scooping water up from Morden Lake also known
 group  gatherings  during  these  times.  We  are  very  grateful  to  the  Scout  Hut   as Decoy Pond and then water bombing the area with 1000 litres a time.

       being another Major Incident !

       I went out to check our side again at 5pm and all looked quiet.

       Cycled that afternoon following the Firehose all the way into Trigon and turning
       down to the weir at the River Piddle. Spoke to the firefighter in his reclining chair.
       Very chatty and helpful. Very noisy pump and he was sitting right in the firing line
       of the noise and exhaust!
       Called in to the camp site to meet the helicopter refuelling guy.
       Another very chatty man and I was lucky enough to watch the helicopter land.

       The pilot looked pretty worn out and was using this 5 minutes of peace to prepare
       himself for the next trip.
       Then off he went to continue water bombing the various sites. He had started at
 Dorchester   9.30am and was still going at 4pm. They were stood down at the end of the day
