Traffic in the parish of Affpuddle & Turnerspuddle - Survey
       of parishioners

Readers will recall that, in September, a survey of parishioners was launched,
seeking views on a range of traffic related issues. After some six weeks, we have
closed the survey, to which over 90 responses have been received, expressing a
range of views. We are most appreciative of all who helped to make the survey
possible and of everyone who has taken part in it. Given the scale of response, it
is fair to say that we have gained an excellent understanding of how parishioners
       feel about traffic matters generally.
 Some 86% of respondents feel that slowing down traffic would be
             beneficial, 10% disagree and 4% don’t know.
 72% believe that more warning signs would be good, 24% disagree and
here also 4% elected for the ‘don’t know’ option.

             scheme.
