November, with gratitude to God who brought us through them, in spite of the
overwhelming odds that were stacked against us on numerous occasions.

I read the following story recently about a British soldier who was prisoner in a
German camp. His escape was miraculous.

Many people came to know and trust in God during World War II. One was an
Englishman who was held in a German prison camp for a long period of time.
One day he read Psalm 91 in his Bible.
“ He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide under the shadow of
       the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”

For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High your dwelling
       place.
No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent.

For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your
       ways.” v1&2, 9-11
