If we choose to live in Christ’s light, if we trust in God rather than people, then what 2020
seems important is turned upside down and we are enabled to live as free,
contented and generous-hearted people. Lent is a good time for us to think
about the choices we make and to perhaps try a simpler way of living – that’s why Key: FG-Floral Group, AL-Autumn Leaves, TA– Twinning, WI-Women’s
we give things up for Lent. We can also take something new on – maybe Institute, PiP-Pop in Place, GC-Gardening Club
volunteering, helping a neighbour, giving up some time to concentrate on a
particular subject that concerns us. During Lent there will be one group meeting September
on a Monday evening in Briantspuddle and another on a Thursday morning at
Bere Regis Vicarage. We are going to look at the book Rev Carol mentioned in 8th Communibus - Breamore House and Countryside Museum
last month’s magazine – ‘Say yes to life’ by Ruth Valerio. Please do get in touch
