15th Coral Gardener - Christmas Open Demonstration at 2.00pm As I write this, we’re all gearing up for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Tarrant Keynston Village Hall Just a couple of weeks to go and I am sure we’re all hoping for a lovely four days
SP full of fun and partying. The weather forecasters are optimistic, at the moment,
17th Salt and Pepper Club for a dry bank holiday, well that will make a nice change! Do you remember the
Silver Jubilee? My lasting memory is of rain – it absolutely poured down on our
23rd Winchester street party in the village in Hampshire where I was a teenager, but we all carried
on regardless. The Scouts were almost swimming across the marquee after a
night of rain – the Cubs were luckier; they were in the Hut.
December We all took part in a Treasure Hunt that seemed to take in miles around the north
Hants countryside, and yes got soaked again! Then the Golden Jubilee, North
14th Salisbury Christmas Shopping Dorset this time and guess what, we had to abandon camp the weather was so
bad! I wasn’t camping for the Diamond Jubilee, but I remember watching a
rather damp flotilla of boats, nobly led by Her Majesty, on the TV. Let’s hope we

As we all know these days the word ‘jubilee’ is mostly associated with the royal
