A LETTER FROM YOUR ASSOCIATE PRIEST
8th FG: Katie Baxter: Autumn Falls
 Dear Friends
9th AL: 49th birthday tea, meet our new associate priest
Whilst the last 8 weeks has no doubt
been strange and frustrating for all of
us, there have been some benefits. As 12th PiP - Bere Regis Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk 10.00am
I have said before, I have made a lot
       17th Salt and Pepper Club
of use of the local footpaths,
 accompanied by Zinnie our dog,
during exercise time. In last months 22nd Communibus - Seaton
piece I mentioned that Zinnie was
extremely cautious around water – well I am happy to say a breakthrough has 27th PiP - Macmillan Coffee morning, Lower Hall 10.00-12.00
been made! Walks down to Turnerspuddle and a paddle in the ford, after a little
encouragement, are now being enjoyed. And imagine this – we have a small October
paddling pool in the garden for cooling off and Zinnie, with the enticement of a
ball, has been known to jump delicately into the pool with her back legs aloft, 6th Communibus - Bridport
rather like a handstand, and then lower her back legs with the minimum of splash
to retrieve the ball and then jump out again. Progress indeed! 13th FG: Denise Jones: Floral Dreams
Another benefit, because I have had to walk from home, has meant that I have
really noticed how nature is constantly changing, each day there is something 14th AL: Alex Betts, guitar entertainment
