October 2018 October 2018

thought that because Jesus healed on the Sabbath day he must have been a
bad man but the man himself rightly thought only a good man could do such a
wonderful thing. Revd Charles then told us to think about how life would be
without sight and closed his eyes and walked carefully, but not perfectly, down
the aisle. He discouraged others from copying unless they were very careful! He
also pointed out that we sometimes say ‘do you see?’ when we mean ‘do you
understand?’ so it about mental and spiritual sight as well as physical.
There were three people with birthdays to whom we sung. After the Affirmation of
Faith, we sang again the action song We want to see Jesus lifted high. Then
following a time of prayer we sang another well-loved hymn How great thou art.
The Puppets’ final number was Hey People.
We would like to thank all who took part and the Puppets were in particularly
       good and lively form.
